Author Andy Darcy Theo Visits OSFC

On Tuesday 14th October, author Andy Darcy Theo visited Oldham Sixth Form College to deliver an inspiring talk for students. Andy is the creator of the romantasy series The Light That Blinds Us.

Andy’s engaging and interactive session was attended by students from English and Psychology classes, as well as avid readers from our Book Club Xtra. He provided an insightful look into the publishing industry and the entire process of creating a book from start to finish. To keep the students involved, Andy hosted a fun quiz based on the main characters of his book.

The talk also covered details about The Light That Blinds Us and its sequels, along with an exciting sneak peek at the next, unreleased book in the series.

Students were enthusiastic throughout the event, asking many questions and staying afterward for photo opportunities and book signings.

Following the talk, Andy led a smaller, interactive workshop with a select group of students. The workshop encouraged active participation, and the students got very involved, making the session especially engaging and successful.
