Friday 13 March 2026 Forensic Psychologist, Kerry Daynes, Returns to OSFC On Tuesday 10 March, Oldham Sixth Form College was thrilled to welcome back forensic psychologist Kerry Daynes who was speaking to a packed lecture theatre of OSFC students alongside pupils from Hulme Grammar School and Crompton House.

Monday 9 February 2026 Students Create Commemorative Event Video for Dr Kershaws Hospice Year 13 students Chris Folawole and Ulfat Sarwary were recently involved in a live project with Dr Kershaw's Hospice. The students were tasked with creating a video for their annual commemorative event; Light up a Life. The event held on the Hospice grounds, is a multi-faith service to celebrate and remember loved ones with readings and music.

Thursday 20 November 2025 OSFC Fundraising for SPARK Oldham Staff and students at OSFC have been busy fundraising and collecting donations for the SPARK Oldham Christmas Fundraising Challenge over the last couple of months. Year 13 students, Cameron Gates and Ellie Collison have been working closely with SPARK Oldham for sometime now and were delighted to have more students getting involved.

Tuesday 18 November 2025 OSFC Students Inspired by Next Gen Aviator Programme Oldham Sixth Form College (OSFC) were delighted to host an aviation experience day for all of its students on Friday 14th November. The day saw the college visited by a number of British Airways pilots who shared their wealth of experience and knowledge, inspiring students through discussion and the opportunity to try out a real British Airways (BA) flight simulator.

Wednesday 26 February 2025 OSFC students take part in In2MedSchool London Hackathon! As part of OSFC’s prize-winning support for aspiring medics, 15 Year 12 students have worked with the organisation In2MedSchool to find out more about medicine. 5 of these students recently participated in In2MedSchool’s annual ‘Hackathon’ at King’s College, London. This is a distinguished event at which Year 12s present their own hypothesised lifestyle medical interventions in front of like-minded students from all over the UK, as well as, more dauntingly, a panel of esteemed doctors.
